Meet the Expert Behind Captain Backflow
A personal introduction to the specialist behind the business — the experience, the training, the industry leadership and the approach that customers trust.

Who is Captain Backflow?
Captain Backflow is led by Paul Daley, a plumbing professional who turned a career in the trade into a focused specialism in water compliance.
Paul Daley has spent 30+ years working across plumbing and water systems, with a particular focus on backflow prevention and the regulations that keep commercial water supplies safe.
The business was founded on a simple idea: that RPZ testing and water compliance deserve a dedicated specialist, not a general plumber fitting it in between other jobs. That focus is what customers across the UK now rely on.
Industry Leadership & Presidency
Beyond day-to-day compliance work, Paul has helped shape the plumbing and water industry itself — serving in a leadership role and bringing that experience back to every customer he works with.
